What we handle
The whole compliance cycle
Sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts — trades, cafes and
restaurants, retail, transport, health and allied health, professional services
and family businesses right across Melbourne.
BAS & GST
Monthly or quarterly activity statements, prepared from reconciled accounts
rather than guesswork. GST coding reviewed properly — the mixed
supplies, GST-free food lines and capital purchases are where most errors
live. Lodged on time, with the tax agent extension where it applies.
Payroll & Single Touch Payroll
Pay runs, payslips, STP reporting each pay cycle, super guarantee paid by the
quarterly deadline, and end-of-year finalisation so your staff see "Tax ready"
in myGov. Award interpretation and leave accruals set up correctly from the
start.
Bookkeeping
Day-to-day coding, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and
keeping the file clean enough that year-end is not an archaeological dig.
Weekly, monthly or quarterly — whatever the business actually needs.
Year-end accounts & tax
Financial statements and the company, trust or partnership return, with
distributions, division 7A loans, trust resolutions and depreciation handled
before 30 June rather than discovered after it. Instant asset write-off
applied where it is available and worth using.
Victorian obligations
The state ones that catch growing businesses out: payroll tax
through the State Revenue Office once your Victorian wages pass the threshold
(including grouping rules if you run more than one entity),
WorkCover registration and the annual remuneration
declaration with WorkSafe Victoria, and long service leave accruing under the
Victorian scheme.
Software & training
We work across Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon. We will set
the file up, migrate you across, or train your team and stay in the background
for the questions — whichever keeps costs down for you.
Cash flow, not just compliance
Lodging on time is the floor, not the point. We use the same numbers to look at
margin by product or job, where the cash actually goes, whether your pricing
still works after a cost increase, and how much to set aside for the next BAS
and tax bill so it is never a surprise.
